Distribution

Native to Australia, New Zealand, and the Indian Ocean islands, Mauritius, Réunion and Rodrigues (1).

Description

Small leaved low growing ground-cover plant which provides protective cover for insects and small skinks. It spreads from rhizomes (underground stems) and produces tiny flowers in Spring (2).
