Your FEP Committee met on Wednesday, 15 July and discussed numerous matters. The minutes will be posted on this website when available but, in the meantime, points of interest include:
Date claimer for FEP AGM: Saturday, 12 September at 2 pm in the Toowoomba Library meeting rooms. All members are welcome to attend. There will be further information, including about the guest speaker, soon.
Darling Downs Environment Council AGM: DDEC is calling for nominations for their management committee before the AGM on 16 September. The role of President will be vacant along with several general committee positions. If you’d like to contribute to the strategic direction of DDEC, now is the perfect time to step forward. DDEC is seeking committee members who can help us focus more on governance, strategy, fundraising, financial management, marketing, and risk management. While specific professional skills are great, the most important thing we need from our committee members is the time to be able to actively contribute (usually a couple of hours a week). The committee meets monthly either online or face to face. Renew your individual DDEC membership here! For questions or to register your interest please contact: organiser@ddec.org.au
FEP brochure: The committee agreed to move toward creation of a brochure that can be used to promote FEP and its work. Members with ideas about the design, production, use of a brochure are invited to get involved. If you have ideas contact a committee member who will be able to assist you to contribute.
