BirdLife Australia is promoting Aussie Bird Count:
a fun, easy way for all of us to take a national snapshot of the birds around us as we connect with nature. With just 20 minutes, you can help build a picture of how our feathered friends are faring and contribute to something that really counts.
The count runs from 19 – 25 October. Visit the Aussie Bird Count website for information including instructional video and to register as a participant.
To register for the Bird Count you will need an account with BirdLife Australia. If you don’t already have one you can create one from the login page at BirdLife Australia.
