The TOOWOOMBA REGION KOALA HABITAT PROJECT has just secured another unexpected supply of koala tree tubestock seedlings – possibly the last for this planting window ???
- 46 E. biturbinata – grey gum
- 14 E. robusta – swamp mahogany
- 52 E. tereticornis – forest red gum
- 50 E. propinqua – small fruited grey gum
- 50 E. saligna – blue gum
- 80 E. melanopholia – silver leafed ironbark
- 39 E. microcorys – tallowwood
We expect further guards and stakes to be delivered from Aussie Environmental at Yandina Wednesday, 30 October.
Free seedlings, stakes & guards will be available from Mt Lofty, Toowoomba on Thursday, 31 October – but please call / email first. Once again, you’ll need to source your own mulch – try Bunnings for sugar cane mulch $18 per pack to cover up to 10 seedlings. Once again, FIRST IN, BEST DRESSED … although given we want to supply as many landholders as possible…we may limit numbers to say 30 to each landholder.
You’ll also need to promise to do an upbeat FB post of your planting activity … happy to help with filming etc …
