Weed spotters November bulletin
The Weed Spotters Network Queensland is a citizen science collaboration between the Queensland Herbarium, the Department of Primary Industries (formerly the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries)and local governments with funding support from the Land Protection Fund. It produces a weed spotters bulletin on the latest activities of the network. The November 2024 edition is now available.

Bush fires and biodiversity
An Australian article published in Nature related to the 2019-20 fires found greater biodiversity loss in areas subject to frequent burning. The ABC has published a story about the findings.
