Join Wildlife Queensland’s Dr Kate Dutton-Regester for an outdoor field workshop exploring the fascinating world of the short-beaked echidna in its natural habitat.
Learn about echidna ecology and how you can contribute to long-term monitoring through the EchidnaWatch and Echidna Detectives program. This session will explore how echidnas use the landscape and how to identify their characteristic diggings and signs.
Following a presentation, we’ll head outdoors for a walk and a practical field discussion in the surrounding environment.
