Thanks very much to everyone attended or helped with our Carnival in the Bush at J E Duggan Park. All our activities, guided walks and bush café were a resounding success. And thanks very much to our allied groups who joined us: Crows Nest Community Nursery, Condamine Country Plant Group, Peacehaven Nursery, Toowoomba Wilderness Society, Toowoomba Bushwalkers, Darling Downs Wildlife Hospital, Charles Dove, and Tiffany Gessler. We were able to offer an all abilities guided plant walk, along the recently repaired and refurbished all abilities trail. This walk was much appreciated by the participants. And we had the arrival of a koala who situated itself in a grey gum right next to a track, for walk participants to view. Thanks to everyone who donated produce to the bush café. It was very much in demand, and enjoyed. Profits from the bush café have been donated to support the planting and maintenance of koala trees.
