The Climate Media Centre team will be in Toowoomba on Friday 30 October for an in-person full day media training session.

Location: TBA (it will be somewhere near the centre of Toowoomba)
Cost: Free (includes morning tea and lunch)
Our media training sessions are free for all participants, and aim to help participants develop a deeper understanding of current Australian attitudes to climate change and the energy transition, learn how to communicate on climate change and energy, and find out what journalists think makes a great story.
Participants receive a structure for planning interviews with key messages, tips and tricks to nail media interviews, and one-on-one interview practice with personalised feedback — and you go home with handouts to help you prepare for future media interactions.
